The heart behind Five40 Creative
Hey there — I’m so glad you stopped by.
I’m a creative soul with a marketing brain, a deep love for community, and a serious thing for clean design, good stories, and a solid cup of coffee.
After spending over 20 years in traditional office roles, I decided it was time to take a leap. I wanted to trade the corporate commute for country air, and create something that blends all the things I love—design, storytelling, strategy, and helping people grow what matters most to them. And so, Five40 Creative was born.
Named after the rural highway that runs south of High River, Alberta, Five40 is as much about place as it is about purpose. It’s a reflection of where I live, how I work, and the kind of businesses I love to support: grounded, local, and ready to shine.
More than marketing
I work with small business owners, startups, wellness professionals, and especially love yogis — people who pour their hearts into their work and want their brand to reflect that same energy.
Whether we’re mapping out your marketing strategy, designing your logo, writing website copy, or planning your next social campaign, I’ll be there with a calm approach, a creative eye, and a whole lot of practical support.
A little bit about me
I’m a proud mom to two teenage boys, wife to a guy who makes me laugh every day, and dog mom to Sadie (our fun-loving Golden Retriever) and Georgia (our cuddle-bug Australian Labradoodle). I live just south of High River, Alberta tucked near the Highwood River, where the air is crisp and the pace feels just right.
Yoga is something I can’t live without, and when I’m not working or chauffeuring teenagers, you can usually find me baking, decorating, or crafting something from scratch.
